It's been awhile again since my last post. My work certainly seems to have an ebb and flow to it and I guess now I'm in the flow these days but loving it. Mother's Day weekend I managed to say yes to 3 photo sessions all on Saturday. Normally, I try to limit my self to 1 or maybe 2 a weekend but not 3 in one day. Thankfully, my hubby didn't mind entertaining the kids for the day :-)
I started bright and early- a family session with my next door neighbors. They have an adorable little 2 yr old and were hoping to get some new family shots. We walked over to Schenley Park and checked out the graffiti wall and just had fun.
Next it was off to a session with a 1 yr old little girl. Mom and Dad received a photo session gift certificate and were looking forward to having pictures at home. We started out with some pj shots and then tried a couple of different outfits. She was such an expressive little girl. I could barely keep up with all the faces. We did manage to make it outside for a little bit but the wind really kicked up and made it challenging and quite chilly.
Finally it was a do-over with a friend who is expecting her 3rd child and was hoping for some belly shots with her family. Our first time together proved a little challenging and we decided it would be best to try another day. That turned out to be the perfect solution and we got some beautiful shots. I was also able to use my backdrop for the first time. It offered a studio feel to her pictures in the comfort of her own home and I think it went really well.
I'll be back to see them in a few weeks when their newest little man makes his way into the world. I can't wait!
