I'm an award-winning photographer serving Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas. I specialize in children and family portraiture, working almost entirely on location and with natural light. With a background in education in addition to a degree in fine art, I try to capture beautiful images that also truly showcase the uniqueness of your child and family in a natural setting (with limited posing and forced smiles).
I understand the importance of relationships and how photographs that capture the essence of those relationships can be family treasures. I will work diligently during the session and then during the post-processing of your images to ensure high quality, beautiful portraits for you.
While the majority of my work is with children and families, I'm also interested in working with seniors, young adults, engaged couples and expectant mothers.
In a nutshell, I am quiet, shy, and self conscious. I love the Lord, my kids and my husband who is also my best friend. I am loyal to family and friends. I hate to disappoint people and it thrills me when people are moved by my work. I love reading, knitting and chocolate. I love to listen to my dad play the guitar, to make my husband laugh so that he cries, and to smell the ocean in summer time. Photography is my artistic home and I am so blessed to be able to share it.
