Couple of new pics. We've been out in the backyard a lot lately and I've actually been able to sit with my camera and snap a few. These are a couple that I thought turned out nice. It's so hard to take pictures of your children when they won't look at you. ;-)

Prom

I was very excited to take my first set of pics with someone who was old enough to drive yet not a parent :-)

my cousin went to her first prom this past weekend and i offered to do some shots of her all dressed up. she looked so pretty and so grown up. i just had to put this up for all to see...or at least the few people out there who might look at this site :-)

took this of caleb the other day. i really liked how excited he was discovering how the dirt fell from his shovel. it was a cute moment and i was happy to catch it. thought i would play a little with it and this is what i came up with. hope you like- i'll have more coming.

Update- april

up until this week, the weather has been gorgeous! which has meant lots of time playing outside and not as much taking pictures so i haven't had much time to post. that's actually been a good thing because my husband, andy, has been doing some computer maintenance for me.

i've been taking a lot of flower pics so here are a few.

Easter Pictures

I was able to get the kids to dress up in their Easter outfits to try to get some pictures of them. We didn't get to do any outside but I was happy with how these came out. I also wasn't able to get the two of them to stand together. It's something I continue to work on. I did like playing around with these a bit. Lately, I've been favoring these antique-style colors.

I let the kids watch Veggie Tales the other day and snapped some pictures while they were distracted. I really liked the perspective of these. There was beautiful light coming in the front door (and it's no longer to cold to leave it open).
