I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have supported me this year and to call attention to some changes. In this first year of business, Jodi Walsh Photography was a success! I started out last year not knowing if this was really something that I could do (as many of us worry when beginning a new adventure). Through the course of the year, though, I came to believe that this was definitely something that I not only could do but could also be good at. It's been a blessing to have discovered a creative outlet that I can also share with others. That's so important to me.
I thank those of you who were patient with me. This has been a learning process and has been so rewarding to see the improvements in my work as well as to work with so many generous families and some absolutely adorable kids.
A huge thank you to my husband, Andy. Without him, this really wouldn't have happened. He's been my encourager, my business manager, my technical adviser and my childcare provider. Not to mention the best hubby and friend a girl could have.
I hope to continue to work and grow in 2009 (maybe even expanding to include some studio lighting). We'll have to see what the year brings.
So far, the only change on the horizon will be that I will be increasing the price for prints. I really struggled with this decision and I hope you will still find my rates reasonable. The session fee will still be the same ($40)
